Overview:

Ms. Nash-Hoff’s presentation Ms. Nash-Hoff’s presentation will provide information on how to use the new technologies of automation, robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Additive Manufacturing, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and digitization of everything that comprise Industry 4.0 to solve the shortage of skilled workers.

She will cover whether or not to acquire the equipment in-house or whether to use vendors that have one of more of these technologies already in use. She will give examples of how and when these technologies can be applied to either replace a manufacturing process or job function, improve productivity, reduce inventory, and increase cash flow and profitability.

Why should you Attend:

We are experiencing a full-scale digital revolution in the manufacturing industry at the same time that baby boomers are retiring. New advanced technologies are shifting the skills sets needed by manufacturers.

Manufacturers need to learn how to leverage automation, robotics, cobots, and other Industry 4.0 technologies to solve the lack of skilled manufacturing workers. We also need to educate a new generation of workers in how to utilize these new technologies to advance their careers.

This will ensure that we are making the products needed by the military and defense industry and the products needed to protect the health and welfare of Americans in the United States.

We need to be self-sufficient domestically for the manufactured goods needed and wanted by American consumers and not be dependent on other countries for manufactured goods if we want to maintain a strong middle class and ensure a strong, secure domestic supply chain to remain a free country.

Areas Covered in the Session:

  • How to make the decision to acquire automation equipment or robots
  • How Automation can be used to replace a manufacturing process or job function
  • How robots and cobots can be used in production
  • How Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) can be utilized to solve the skills shortage
  • Learn what are the benefits of using these new technologies
  • Learn how even small companies can utilize these new technologies

Who Will Benefit:

  • Owners and/or Managers of Original Equipment Manufacturers, Job Shop Companies, Contract Manufacturers, and Companies Providing Secondary Operations and Services to all of the above
  • CEO's/CFO's/Presidents
  • Vice Presidents
